DC Women In Politics convene At-­‐Large women candidates-­‐-­‐
Anita Bonds and Elissa Silverman-­‐-­‐to talk issues at Sunday forum

 

Washington, DC--DC Women in Politics (DC-WIP) will host “Lets Talk Issues-Woman to Woman,” a forum with the women candidates—Anita Bonds and Elissa Silverman— who are running for the At-Large Seat on the DC City Council.

The forum will be held at the Greater Washington Urban League located at 2901 14th Street NW ((14th & Harvard NW). The nearest metro is Columbia Heights. The forum is an opportunity for DC residents to hear Bonds and Silverman share their position and perspective on issues that impact women, children and families.

DC Women in Politics (DC-WIP) is a diverse nonpartisan women’s leadership organization. Our mission is to increase the number of women elected to public office and to monitor their legislative and advocacy actions on issues that impact women and families. Women’s political equality will be achieved by employing various strategies that will result in successful outcomes.
