Please plan to join us on Monday, September 12, 2022 6:30-8:00 pm for the 2022 Virtual Town Hall and Preference Poll for the General Election (RSVP below), where a panel of ALL female candidates running for office in November will speak about women and family issues.

On Monday, September 12, 2022 6:30-8:00 pm, watch and listen online, then vote for the women that you feel best represent the interests of DC Women. 

Candidates for Mayor of the District of Columbia

Candidates for At-Large Members of the DC City Council

Candidates for Ward 5 Member of the State Board of Education

DCWIP will ask the questions you want to ask, or you can post your questions during the Town Hall. Topics for discussion will include:

  • Education lag after COVID
  • Provision of Special Education Services
  • Rank Choice Voting
  • Affordable Housing and Gentrification
  • Women’s Right to Choose
  • Public Safety
  • Busloads of immigrants being used as political pawns

The Preference Poll gives all registered DC voters the opportunity to choose the candidate that you feel is best qualified to represent you, and to address bread-and-butter issues affecting DC women and their families.

Your participation in our Town Hall is strongly encouraged. And, immediately following the Town Hall, you will be able to cast your Preference Poll vote through September  16, 2022.
