What a year of accomplishment:

  • Election of a female majority council in the District of Columbia.
  • DC Women in Politics' position paper created to stop rank choice voting in the District of Columbia.
  • Joining women across the city to reduce violence in our neighborhoods at home and even on the way to and from school.

And, its time for our next Mazie Green Holland Campaign School.

Please join the DCWIP leadership team to discuss:

  1. How to celebrate our accomplishments.
  2. The design of the next Campaign School.
  3. Policies and action regarding:
    • Wages, employment and business ownership equality.
    • Sexual assault, harassment, and laws related to legalizing prostitution.
    • Policies governing school reopening.
    • Race, gender politics and counter-culture.
    • 2023-2024 election of women, and accountability of the seven women on the council.
    • Crime: increasing population of women and children victims.
